There is a neon yellow box--decorated with a bright orange ribbon, littered with random doodles of red paint--sitting in front of Larry's apartment (under a "Studio of the Great Laurice Deauxnim" sign hanging from his doorknob). There's also another one on the floor in front of the front desk at the library. The owner of these two boxes is nowhere to be found, should one be looking, but he thought it'd be nice to get a little something for being a good chap in general.

The front of the box reads: Happy Valentines Day from your friendly niehborh neighborhood Laurice!
Under the cover of the box, scrawled in the tiniest of letters, reads: Tips please ♥

I had a dream where this guy with a toothbrush mustache wrote a book about a stalker vampire that called himself a lion. I went back in time to his big red Chinese house, stopped the book from being published, and felt really good about it when I got back to the present.

I've been doing this and that here and there for a good while... a couple commissions that I paid for, dressing up as a mascot and handing out balloons to kids, waitering in that Chinese restaurant down the road, cashiering at the local grocery store (got fired because the store manager's fiancee was into me--not that I can blame her!), flipping burgers, working with the construction place, and I've been thinking...

I haven't had a decent job in a while.

And maaybe I kinda need one with the two all the dates recently (yup! Larry's back in the game and more popular that ever, things are looking up at last. My baby Kimantha should be back from that photoshoot any minute now--and she's still in the contin--countr--city!), one that pays a lot without too much work, y'know?
Any suggestions?
















Oh and you're dying to hear what's happened with Charlotte, huh? Thought so! Well, see, what happened is... I fell asleep at the airport--not that I couldn't pay the rent or anything, since I did and all... a bit late... I feel like the landlady is glaring at me through the flooring for some reason..
But anyhow! I guess we just missed each other haha.. ha--Or she just couldn't call or receive my calls because she was on the plane as I was leaving.. Or she hasn't come back yet...
... Or she doesn't plan on calling.. ever... but it's A-OKAY because I met my dream girl while she wasn't calling! Oh, I should call Kimantha now to see if she's in bed yet.

The tablet I won in the lottery sort've... broke though... And I can't exactly afford a new one. So I had to use a mouse. It was painful, so I gave up a bit after a while, haha..

Oh, but I met a nice girl named Charlotte this morning. I think it was love at first sight for both of us. Hubba hubba! She's a model and said she was going to have to go to Russia for a photoshoot soon, but when I told her about all the other girls she promised me she'll hurry back and come see me. That's the first time that's ever happened... Isn't that great? I can't wait to go pick her up at the airport! Maybe after that I'll be able to love again just like I did with Hannah and Sophia and Gretel..

Gotta stay optimistic! Right Nick? Edgey?

Man, I haven't been drawing enough lately! I think my pencils have been getting rusty. I'm supposed to be looking for a new job, but that can wait while I flex an art muscle. So I'll try sketching some stuff.
